Dam Flap Gate controls water levels downstreams behind filtering screens or
other equipment where a high stable backing-level is needed to enhance usage by increasing the immersion depth.
Many existing water treatment plants have poor level conditions in existing
concrete channels and structures. This gives poor usage and result from screens.
Dam Flap Gate DFG level control device enhances the efficiency on screens & filters
by giving stable & controlled back level & predictable head differential pressure.
DFG is actuated by pneumatic cylinders. (alternative actuator solutions are available).
The DFG is a top mounted swinging flap gate which keeps the waterlevel at a pre set level by andersson waters unique pressure/timer control system. Letting the water flow under it maintains bottom velocity which eliminates risk for settlings accumulating. DFG compensates and evens out flow bursts. DFG has no hinges, seals or joints under water.
